Today is chinese new year eve.Woke up at around 1 plus today as i sleep at around 5am in the mid-night.After i wash up..Had green bean soup for my breakfast and then proceed on to play with my computer games. At around 4pm , was feeling hungry and went to greenridge plaza with the accompanion of my mother to get some food and withdraw some money for new year purposes . Realised that many stalls were close and in the end we went back home without any food as my mother suggest that i eat during the reunion dinner since its just like 1-2 hr later.
At around 7+..had steamboat for reunion dinner with my relatives..i was so hungry that i ate 2 big bowl of rice .
After i finished my food , watch the show "tu ran fa cai " mainly featuring the three mediacorp artistes of Mark Lee , Christopher Lee and Liu Qian Yi. THey are trying to reflect the typical Singaporeans way of striking a Fortune - By gambling on lottery , Soccer matches and pray to Gods and Spirits to help them win money! In the end , they went bankrupt and had to borrow money from loan sharks to pay off their debt. Later , they strike lottery and started to invest in a completely new Ba kuk teh stall coming up with 24 different type of dishes with Names of Fortune . On the opening ceremony of their 8th branches they give a speech about their past and Realised that striking a fortune is just all luck and that the real God of Fortune is actually themselves and those around them who were willing to work hard to ensure success in things they do.
Play the Game 'Old maid ' with my cousins and sister after the show...i was so unlucky...out of the 10+ round we play , i was the old maid for like about 8 times . We were enjoying ourselves and having lots of fun.
We then later countdown towards Chinese New Year with the mediacorp artistes on tv...Happy Chinese New Year , Hope that this year of the 'pig' will be a happy and wonderful year for all people!

Ok will go to bed now..Have to get up more early then usual to visit my relatives and attend to the visiting relatives tomorrow. Ang Baos awaiting me..lolx...Goodnite!

U will never walk alone @ 1:10 AM

Hi all , This is the 1st time i am writing a blog . I never expect that i will ever write a blog as i always thought that blogging is a girl play toys and not for boys . I realised that i am wrong as more and more boys started to blog..since now i am bored at home staring at the computer screen...i decide to create a blog to keep memories of mine for future reference.(pretty lame ..i know)
Well..today is my last day of work in the NTUC as a cashier in Bukit Timah Plaza. Still doing the same old stuff when i report for work at 5pm , Record the changes of any price of fruits..thumb in on the machine to prove that i came to work..calculate the float amount to ensure that i get the correct cash.Then with the accompany of the SO(security officer) went down to the counter which i am assigned to and start doing some basic paper work all cashier must do...and then to open the counter and start serving the customers!!
Went to have my dinner at around 8+ ...had the zinger meal in KFC and then slack all the way till 9 plus before reopening my counter again.Had to work till 12am because of the extension in opening hours due to Chinese New Year.
Went to eat after work with my parents and my friend...Had roti prata for food and teh tarik for my drink..The prata was not bad actually...the teh tarik was no difference from the teh i normally drink at coffeeshops(any difference between the two?) . After that we send my friend home and then eventually return back home.
-Working in ntuc have been a fairly good experience for me...i realise that the job of a cashier is not as simple as i always thought! They have to remember price of fruits..wat free gift to give to the customer for purchase items...wat is on offer , wat to scan and wat to be manually key..At times , constant nagging from customer to hurry things up ..and to accept the horrible facial expression from nasty customer who vent their anger on you. Most importantly ..i interact alot which i usually don't and i get to meet all different kinds of people. I will miss the aunties ..some of them are really funny..the way they speak and their actions , "Uncle"(security officer) , my chief cashier for their constant nagging ( it had become part of my job to hear them nag...lolx) and also friends that i get to know there.I promise that i will return to visit you'll one day when i am free!
